How to Ask Vroam

Ask Vroam is the app’s built-in assistant. Tap the sparkle in the search bar and ask in plain language, the way you would ask someone who already lives on the road. You do not need to say where you are or what you are driving: Vroam already knows your rig, and your location when location is turned on, so you can skip straight to the question.

What you can ask it

Food and drinks

“Good tacos nearby,” “a cozy coffee shop,” “breweries in town.” Vroam names real local spots and drops them on the map.

A place to sleep

“Where can I sleep tonight?” pulls from Vroam’s own layer of legal dispersed sites, campgrounds, and overnight parking, the same categories covered in the pin glossary.

Hikes and things to do

“Easy hikes near me,” “a waterfall worth the drive,” “what’s worth seeing around here.”

Gas, water and services

“Nearest gas,” “a dump station,” “laundromat,” “where to fill up on water.”

Planning a trip

“Plan Moab to Bend in 2 nights.” Vroam sketches a route with overnight stops, drive times, weather, and whether it fits your rig.

Getting a useful answer

Specific beats vague: “vegan lunch” gets you further than “food.” Once you have a result, tap it to see the details, route to it, or save it for later.
